9 man Cardiff go down at Loftus Rd

Michael Chopra's return to Cardiff did not bring any joy to a Bluebird's side that went down in Lodon to Gavin Mahon's 80th minute.
City's task was made difficult in the 28th minute when Darre Puirse was given a striaght red card for a late high challenge on Lee Cook. The TV pundits thought it a harsh decision.

Joe Ledley was sacraficed for Gabor Gyepes to come on to partner Roger Johnson.

Chopra played up front with Eddie Johnson in a new look strike partnership.

The 10 men were looking good for at least a point until Gavin Mahon headed in a Peter Ramage cross. 5 mins later and Miguel Comminges became City's second player booked after talking his way off the field. Comminges was booked for a foul then given a 2nd yellow for dissent straight after.

Dave Jones was spitting feathers at the end with a tirade against the officials.
