"But we are together as a team. We are totally committed and the boys were magnificent in defence.
"They have been fantastic all season, but it was a great effort at Ashton Gate. Every player involved did their job and I couldn't have asked for more from the players in front of me.
"Towards the end the tension was too much, but the commitment and spirit never wavered.
"I was delighted with the clean sheets and happy that I played well, but the important factor was the team performance.
"The lads are relishing this win, but it's not over yet and we have a play-off final to get through now.
"We are through to the final at the Millennium Stadium and I can't wait. This sort of occasion is why I came to Cardiff City."
