Well here we are at Christmas and Boyd has scored 17 goals in 20 games for Killie. That form has earned him a move to Glasgow Rangers where he will sign in January for a fee of less than £0.5m (about half of what we were alledged to be signing him for).
Of the move, Boyd said
"It won't sink in until I'm actually in the team. I know the aspects of my game I need to work on, but I feel I've improved this season."
