Bristol Chairman calls fans to support their team

Reading his comments it seems to me as if the Robins may be a little bit worried. I've been in turmoil emotionally thinking that Bristol only had to turn up to win the game tonight but Lansdown's comments to the official BCFC website have given me hope. It is going to be a massive game for both clubs. Bristol have tasted the Millennium Stadium this season and won, they hope to again but Cardiff fans are looking for the biggest single day in the clubs history since 1927.

Read for yourself. Is Lansdown confident or slightly worried?

Quotes from BCFC official website

"The 1,300-plus contingent of City supporters did well in the face of some intimidating circumstances at Ninian Park on Saturday, and so did the players.

"The team have done their bit on Saturday by achieving the goal of keeping the semi-final tie alive coming back to Ashton Gate.

"Now the onus is on us to create a real atmosphere at Ashton Gate and get fully behind the lads from the first kick until the last, for the 90 minutes non-stop.

"We know that it can be done, we've seen it before against the likes of Cardiff, and the Oldham game especially springs to mind when there was an electric atmosphere inside the stadium.

"There will be 18,000-plus supporters inside the ground, with less than 2,000 of those from Cardiff. The atmosphere should be electric once more.

"This is one of the biggest games within recent seasons and certainly the biggest game since I've been chairman of this club.

"The LDV Vans Trophy final was excellent, a great day out, but this is the real thing and everyone wants to achieve promotion.

"Here's your chance to help the players achieve that, please make some real noise at Ashton Gate tomorrow night."
