Cardiff and Burnley to Fight it Out for Former Manchester City Midfielder

The Welshman has made four appearance for this national team and made played 15 times for Wigan last season.

His season was ended early by a horrific ankle injury that he suffered in training in early February.

Huws joined Manchester City from Swansea City's youth academy but failed to break into the first team and had three loan spells at Northampton, Birmingham and Wigan respectively, eventually making his loan move to Wigan permanent in 2014.

It's no secret that Cardiff are after a new central midfielder and Cardiff fans have been very vocal about the lack of Welsh talent in the squad so Huws would be the ideal signing.

However with Joe Ralls, Peter Whittingham, Aaron Gunnarsson and Kagisho Dikgacoi to compete with he may struggle to get consistent game time under Cardiff manager, who let fellow midfielder Tom Adeyemi leaving on loan to Leeds United for the same reason.
