Cheltenham were the visitors to CCS for a 90 min game to finalise preparations.

“I’m really pleased with the application of the players,” said Neil Harris. “It’s all about the minutes in the legs and then you want to build a bit of quality and structure into the team.

“There were some really good individual performances, with some players looking really sharp and creating numerous opportunities." 

Cardiff City: Smithies (Etheridge 58); Osei-Tutu (Sang 46), Nelson (Cunningham 58), Bamba, Morrison (Flint 58), Bennett (Bagan 58); Murphy (Margetson 67), Pack (Bowen 79), Bacuna (d'Almeida 79), Hoilett (Evans 58); Glatzel.
