The Cardiff City club shop and ticket office must have thought we'd reached another cup final as orders came pouring in for new shirts, match tickets and season tickets.

Already Saturday's game against Doncaster is heading towards a home sell out with over 23,000 tickets sold by mid afternoon on Wednesday and at least 500 new season tickets were sold on the back of Craig Bellamy's arrival.

What is not on the back of supporters' replica shirts though is the number 9 and the letter Y. With orders of more that 3,000 the printing press couldn't cope as the club ran out of 9's and Y's. Several thousand numbers and letters are hoped to be in stock before the weekend as the club goes Bellamy Mad.
