Cardiff have the chance to play at new stadiums in Hull and Southampton and a first visit to Hillsborough in over 21 years.

West Ham left the Championship today after our old friend Bobby Zamora scored the winner as they beat Preston 1 - 0.

Sheffield Wednesday won their play off final 4 - 2 AET over Hartlepool. Should Hartlepool have won it would have been their first ever time above the bottom 2 divisions. Maybe next time.

On Saturday Southend became the second team to match City's achievement of keeping three clean sheets in the play offs when the beat Lincoln 2 - 0. Spencer Prior being part of both defences. It was Southends third visit to Cardiff and their first win. Lincoln lost in Cardiff in the 2002 / 2003 season as well.
