Former Liverpool, Man City and Wolves player Mark Kennedy has signed a one year deal with Cardiff City. The Republic of Ireland international joins after an unsuccessful season at Crystal Palace when he played just seven games.
Dave Jones signed Kennedy for Wolves seven years ago for £2m. He is added to the squad for the friendly against Carmarthen on Saturday.
During his career he was transfer four times for seven figure fees.
"We need a squad of 22 players to compete, Mark is a welcome addition," said Peter Ridsdale.
"He is an experienced pro, an experienced international and will add some competition, which we need.
