City get another away Cup draw

Last updated : 17 November 2002 By Michael Morris
City could either find themselves in East London at Brisbane Rd against Orient or in Kent playing Margate. The "gate" as they call temselves are currently playing their games at Dover FC's Crabble ground so it would be a visit to Dover, that would surely be a first, for City fans.

Of course we have to beat Tranmere first, with the game being played 2 days after the Chesterfield game on Sunday Nov 24th and 3 days before the QPR game on Nov 29th we may see a much weaker City side in the replay.

The 2nd round will be played on the weekend on Dec 7th/8th.

If we did get through against Orient we would come up against former players Kevin Nugent and Matt Brazier.

Amazingly this is the 6th time this season we have been drawn away from home in a cup competition.

Boston and Spurs in the Worthington Cup. Exeter and Bournemouth in the LDV Vans and Tranmere plus either Orient or Margate in the FA Cup.
