City looking for three in a row at the Britannia

A Cameron Jerome double along with a penalty from Peter Thorne secured a 3 - 1 win for City in April and the previous season Peter Thorne scored a hat-trick as cardiff beat Stoke 3 - 2.

Thorne was a real pain for his former club in those last two matches.

In the 2001 / 2002 season City drew 1 - 1 at the Britannia in the normal season with a 2 - 1 win in the play off semi final. We all know ow that ended though with Stoke making the final after a win at Ninian Park.

So tonight City have a chance to extend the unbeaten run to 8 games (and that includes 5 league games so far) and a chance to make it three in a row at Stoke City.
