City reserves in action at Oxford tonight

Ian Butterworths takes his reserve team to Oxford tonight for a Pontins Holiday reserve league game.

The match kicks off at 7:00pm at the home of Oxford City.

The reserves have kept two clean sheets in their last two games, last Wednesday they drew 0 - 0 at Ashton Gate v Bristol City and previous to that won 1 - 0 at Plymouth Argyle.

The team tonight sees Aaran Lee Barret in goals for the second consecutive reserve game. Saturday subs Gary Croft and Spencer Prior are joined in defence by Byron Anthony and Danny Parlsow. Parslow has just returned from Belarus where he won the defender of the tournament award during Wales U19 Euro Youth Championship qualifying matches.

In midfield there is a return from injury for Layton Maxwell, he is joined by youngsters Taylor, Fish and Haywood. Up front City have the £m+ strikeforce of Gavin Gordon and Andy Campbell.
