City slip to 4th but can go second with a win on Sunday

Last updated : 23 November 2002 By Michael Morris
Mansfield looked to have done City a huge favour as they led 4 - 2 with 3 mins to go but a Tinnion penalty on 87 mins was followed by 2 goals in injury time and Bristol go above us on goal difference.

Wigan won at Brentford 1 - 0 to ensure they will stay top. The Latics have a 4 point lead over City. Oldham slipped up, they were held at home by Cheltenham. Oldham are only 1 point ahead of Cardiff.

A win by the Bluebirds will mean second place tomorrow.

Crewe are 5th, 3 points behind City. They won 3 - 0 at home over Blackpool.

QPR are 7 points behind in 6th place. Rangers drew 0 - 0 at Luton.
