Darlington signing confirmed with more to come

The number of confirmed signings now by Dave Jones stands at 4.

Jeff Whitley, Neil Cox and Jermaine Darlington (left) have signed contracts with the Bluebirds while Glenn Loovens has moved here from Feyenoord on a seasons long loan.

There are several more potential signings waiting in the wings.

Jamie McCunnie, 22 year old from Ross County. Papers have been saying it's a done deal. He played 45 mins for City at Accrington.

. Surprise starter for Cardiff at Accrington. the 27 year old Northern Ireland midfielder left Norwich at the end of last season. He played 10 games in the Premiership last season. He's been training with City and could become a Coty player soon.

Andrea Ferretti. Another surprise starter at Accrington. 18 year old youth striker from academy at Parma. Dave Jones was giving him a trial.

Darren Purse. WBA defender. 22 games in the Premiership for the Baggies last season and before that over 160 league games for Birmingham City. Purse was at Accrington yesterday with Sam Hammam hoping to convince him to agree personal terms on a move to Ninian Park.

John Curtis. Much travelled 26 year old former Man Utd trainee. He ended last season at Forest but has played Premiership football with Man Utd, Blackburn, Leicester and Portsmouth.

David Fernandez. Currently at Celtic. Been linked with City for a few weeks. Maybe something will be sorted when the club is in Scotland this coming week.

Jason Koumas. A choice for the player to decide between City and Wolves according to the papers.

Dave Jones has pulled a few surprises so far. Don't be surprised to see a few more.
