Earnshaw completes WBA move

Goodbye Robert Earnshaw. WBA announced yesterday that Earnshaw has completed his move to the Hawthorns.

A club record transfer of £3m + a further £625,000 depending on progress. A club record for both the CCFC and WBA, the most we have received for a player and the most they have spent.

I don't think it's quite sunk in yet that the deal has actually gone through.

"It's always been my ambition to play in the Premiership and I'm absolutely thrilled West Brom are giving me that chance," said Earnie

"I'm taking nothing for granted and know that I've got to work hard.

"But I'm looking forward to working with Gary Megson and Frank Burrows, who was one of my first managers at Cardiff,"

Earnshaw seems likely to go straight into the Baggie's starting XI alongside Kanu for the game against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday week.
