FT Cardiff 2 - 4 Watford. Would the last one out turn off the light

C:WindowsTempphpF17A.tmpCardiff ended 2014 with a wimper as a disastrous year ends with defeat.

December's haul of two points from fifteen available has left the club 12th in the Championship table and starting to look over their shoulders instead of up the table.

Adam Le Fondre scored to give City the lead but that was as good as it got. Watford scored twice in three minutes before half time to lead at the break before showing up the home side in the second half with two more goals.

Kenwynne Jones' injury time header was of little consolation.

The club is wrong on all levels. From the owner who spites the fans with his one man crusade to destroy our history and tradition and replace it with his unwanted red wish.

Fans who held up their Tan Out banner (pictured) quickly had it taken down by the security staff.

The manager is getting nothing from his players and must now be dreading his phone ringing in case it's the call to tell him to clear his desk and the players themselves should be taking a long hard look at themselves and why they are failing to deliver week in week out.

They are not fit enough and not good enough. Considering several of these were Premier League players last season you wonder just what has happened to them.

For the fans there's little to cheer at all. The gallows humour has already arrived with home fans cheering Watford's goals, singing 'ole' as Watford passed the ball amongst themselves and then laughing as a crowd of over 22,000 was announced, when in reality there was approx only 14,000 - 15,000 in the stadium.

Chants of 'You don't know what you are doing' towards Russell Slade just added to the shambles that is CCFC at the moment.

Cardiff City is broken and the only man with the ability to fix it is the one who is causing the most damage.

Next up is an FA Cup tie on Friday against Colchester. With fans expected to pay cash for this game rather than use season tickets I expect one of the lowest crowds for a first team game since we moved into the stadium.

I hate to say it but I think things are going to get worse before they get better.
