Home treble follows West Ham

City face one of the toughest tests of the season this coming Saturday at Upton Park. West Ham Utd are looking to get back into the Premiership at the first time of asking. Cardiff go to London followed by over 2,000 fans, the full allocation sold out and there are reports from London that West Ham have sold their tickets as well so a 30,000+ crowd awaits.

Should City get a result at West Ham then there follows three consecutive home games. Firstly v Coventry next Tuesday then after an 11 day gap we have Norwich and Reading within 4 days of each other. If City are to be a play off contender then we have continue winning.

"We have to win three or four matches on the trot," Lennie Lawrence told the Echo. "If we beat West Ham it would be a massive step - and that's the challenge.

"We have 14 matches left and it's likely we must win nine of those to make the play-offs. We haven't won three or four games in a row all season - and now the challenge is to change that.

"We remain among six or seven teams chasing the final play-off spot and a win at West Ham would be a major boost to our hopes."
