Mutual respect as Jones and Coyle share the points

Owen Coyle said "It would have been easy at 2-1 down to feel sorry for ourselves but our group of players don't know when we are beaten. They showed real courage.

"I felt Cardiff looked a good side and that we scored against the run of play.

"I have no doubt they will be in the shake up at the end of the season. Cardiff are packed with quality.

"It was important to keep the home run going and I felt late on that we could actually have won it."

Cardiff felt that points have been lost here.

"It is two points lost but I can't have everything I want," Dave Jones said.

"We played some superb football and should have wrapped the game up, but they are no mugs.

"We caused them problems all night but we are disappointed we did not see out the whole game. We had enough chances in the second half to have won the game.

"We have got pace and that will cause teams problems."
