Rangers go back top but not a bad day for City

Last updated : 06 November 2010 By Michael Morris
The win for Rangers takes them back to the top of the Championship and they lead Cardiff by a single point.

The key position though is 3rd. Swansea are there currently and stayed there after Coventry failed to capitalise. The Sky Blues were beaten 3 - 2 at home by Leeds Utd.

Other teams are bunching up. Derby 4th down to Scunthorpe 15th, are seperated by just 4 points.

Cardiff have the chance on Sunday to put some clear water between them and 3rd place. City have a six point lead over Swansea. Should that become 9 then you can start to look at a breakaway.

Table after Saturday's results.
