Ricketts IN, Langley and Campbell OUT

Dave Jones finally got a striker today when Michael Ricketts joined from Leeds Utd on loan.

The deal will see Ricketts at Ninian Park until the next transfer windown in January. The 26 year old has 1 England cap and while at Bolton between 2000 and 2003 scored 37 goals in 63 league starts. That prompted a £3.5m move to Middlesbrough where he only started 12 league games. His career has stuttered since then with a free transfer to Leeds and a loan move at Stoke only producing 2 Carling Cup goals in only 14 starts in a little over a year.

Maybe the move to Cardiff will do both parties good as the player definately has the ability.

Another loan move sees Andy Campbell off to Oxford Utd until January and the much speculated transfer of Richard Langley back to Q.P.R. has been completed with a permanent move for a small fee.

Best of luck to all three players.
