The departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came as no real surprise. Those watching the team on a regular basis could see that the players, formations and tactics were all over the place.

So with Ole gone and no new permanent manager in place yet the task of selecting the team for today's game at Derby County falls to Scott Young and Danny Gabbidon. It's been quite a couple of weeks for Gabbidon. Almost without a club as the transfer window closed he has signed for Cardiff as player/coach, travelled to Andorra as a sub for Wales and is now joint caretaker manager at Cardiff alongside Young.

The pair first played together back in 2000 and were in the side when Cardiff famously beat Leeds in the 2002 FA Cup 3rd round. Scott Young scoring the late winning goal.

Young has had managerial experience in the Welsh Leagues with AFC Porth and Port Talbot but calling the shots today at Derby will be a different matter. We wish them the best of luck.
