Stadium moves a step closer.

IT’S getting closer...Sam Hammam’s vision of a 30,000-seater Cardiff City stadium has taken another important step forward.

A business plan - crucial to the development of the stadium - was submitted to Cardiff council this week, bringing a start of the scheme much nearer.

Cardiff council confirmed that the plan - which spells out the viability of the project - was being reviewed by finance experts at County Hall and independent advisors.

It will also be considered by councillors, with an unconditional development agreement still to be signed. The proposals already have planning permission.
