Upper tier open on Saturday as City set to smash biggest crowd of the season

With the club offering free tickets for the Derby game when they renew or purchase season tickets for next season the number of fans expected on the weekend is growing every day. The demand has prompted the club to open part of the upper tier at CCS.

This season it's only been used for Wales games (see image) as City's crowds stay well below 20,000 but that barrier will be breached on Saturday when 5th placed Derby visit the capital.

“As a Club, we’re thrilled to see our supporters turning out in force for us as we continue our play-off push," said CEO Ken Choo.

"The game against Derby on Saturday will be our biggest of the season to date, so to have a bumper crowd set to attend that one will be a huge bonus to the team.

“We’ve had an uptake of over 20,000 tickets for Saturday thus far and that continues to grow, day by day.

“It’s about momentum at this stage of the season and with the help of our fantastic fans we’re really building that.”
