£1m boost gives City hope

It's reported in the Echo (full story here) that Michael Isaac's is behind the interest free loan, payable in the summer if City recoup money from player sales, that means the City squad is most likely to remain intact until the end of the season.

The transfer deadline is on March 24th so until that date passes the threat of losing a player will always be there but it's a breath of fresh air today after the doom of the last week or so.

The money will ensure Inamoto can see out his loan spell and the message coming from Ninian Park to prospective purchasers is to go away, our players are not for sale.

The news comes a day before City's massive relegation scrap at Coventry.
