2008 / 2009 Season Ticket prices announced

By Michael Morris
Monday, 3rd March 2008
It get's earlier every year. Ifd you want to make the most of the early bird Ambassador prices for next season you have buy your season ticket before this season finishes.
On "Ambassadors Day" at Ninian Park on Saturday the new prices were launched for the 2008 / 2009 season tickets. Those wanting a Grandstand ticket (Blocks B, C, D or E) will have to pay £519.00. In some area's the price has risen (like the Grandstand) and in some places the price is the same as the current season.

The best value ticket being the Bob Bank Terrace with a ST for £199.00. That's just £8.65 a game.

The full list of prices can be found on the Official Website.

After the shocking display against Leicester the club will do well to sell anywhere near the number of ST's they did this season. "Shooting themselves in the foot" is the phrase that springs to mind. On a day that Peter Ridsdale promises more interaction with the fans his team runs out and did it's best to turn them away.

Walk up prices look high with matchday ticket prices £25 for a Bob Bank seat and £26 to sit in the lower Grandstand. Unless the quality of football and attitude of the management improves the club are going to lose more fans than they gain.
