They normally end up in Row Z so it was nice to get on the scoresheet.
I’ll now look forward to going home and spending some time with the family over summer.' AG

'It’s a real honour, I thought it was going to go to Sol, but then he never really trains so...!
Cheers to the boys and like I said earlier it’s been a tough year. We started not so bright and it shows the character of the boys to get the results right.' AG

KENNETH ZOHORE v Preston

Peter Whittingham is honoured with the Outstanding Contribution Award.

'You obviously know I love this sort of thing...
But I just want to say it’s been an honour to represent the club I love for so long. It’s been a great accolade, thank you.' PW

The Player of the Season 2016/17

ARON GUNNARSSON!

'I’m not really good at speeches, I don’t really speak English to be fair!
It’s been an up and down season, coming from a summer when we beat England and starting awkwardly, ever since the gaffer came in we’ve been getting some good results and we’re trying to build for next season. Every single player who’s staying is looking forward to next season and hopefully we can look forward to something great.' AG
