City face Boston Wednesday night in the Worthington Cup. It's the 11th of September and the first game of the month. 3 days later on September 14th we play the first league game in September agianst Stockport County at Ninian Park. Then the games come thick and fast.

Tuesday 17th Sep Brentford at home. Saturday 21st Notts County away. Tuesday 24th Sep Plymouth Argyle away and we are at home to Crewe Alex on Saturday September 28th. 5 games in 15 days.

This Saturdays visitors Stockport are currently in 9th place, one below City on goals scored. Brentford are currently in 2nd place on goal difference from Wigan. Notts County are in 20th place but just as we are only 4 points from the top they are only 4 points from us. Plumouth are in 3rd place at the moment with Crewe 5th.

City must look to maximise themselves at Ninian Park especially. 11 points have been earned from the first 6 games of the season so far. I think City should be looking to achieve at least 11 points from the next 5 games. 3 wins and two draws should be attainable.

City kick off September with a visist to current leaders Wigan. Maybe these "better" teams will play some more football and enable Cardiff to play a bit themselves and not have to resort to trying to break down 9 man defences.
