Air we go. City flying to Norwich

Dave Jones was worried about the effects of another long journey after the weekends trip to Sheffield. City have chartered a flight to get then to and from Norwich.

'If it was purely down to me I would fly to virtually all games, as we did at Southampton. But, for now, that's not possible.' Jones told the weekend Echo.

Two of the players though decided to make the journey by car.

"You can't change people who are afraid of flying - you've just got to deal with it," Jones told BBC Wales Sport.

"You can't force them onto an aeroplane because you won't get the best out of them in the game."

"We had a long journey to and from Sheffield over the weekend. We would have had to leave at 9:30am on Monday to get to Norwich.

"When we went to Ipswich earlier in this season it took us eight hours.

"The last thing we wanted was another 12 or 14 hours on the bus going to Norwich. Flying was the best option for us."
