Alexander and Weston linked to Coventry?

The following story (here) appears in the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

Like with speculation regarding Jerome we will be faced with the other side of the coin and see our players names linked with other clubs.

There's little doubt that Rhys will leave this summer. The player himself is resigned to it. There are rumours that Alexander could go as well with Dave Jones thought to want to bring in his own keepers. Scott Carson from Liverpool is one name mentioned.

'I don't hold grudges and I know that the manager will do what is best for the team and every player has to accept that,' Rhys told the Echo. 'Whether the player agrees with the manager is a different matter.

'It is clear the manager made a point after the Millwall game and not being included anywhere on match days after the Sheffield game is also making a point.

'I think it's clear to everybody that I have been punished for those two mistakes, but football is a cut-throat business and I have to deal with the situation.'

'I have a year left on my contract and as far as I know I'll be turning up for pre-season training with the rest of the lads until the club tell me otherwise.

'If there are any inquires for me during in the summer it has to be right for the club and me, all I know is that I want first team football.

'I realise that things are bleak for me here at this moment in time, but I've been around long enough to realise things in football can change over night.

'There is the obvious speculation about my future, but the basic fact of the matter is that I've had a great five and half years at the club, and I'm settled.

'But I'm under no illusion that things look bleak for me here, but until the situation changes, I have a starting date to return to training with Cardiff City.'
