Alexander hoping for Scottish start

After being part of the full Scotland squad for ther past 6 months Alexander is hoping he will get a chance tonight to make his first appearance at this level.

Rob Douglas, who kept him out of the full Scotland team is not part of this squad.

Neil Alexander and Paul Gallacher are the two keepers vying for the start tonight, the City stopper will then be back in plenty of time for City's visit to Colchester on Friday.

Berti Vogts is not due to name his team until later. The game kicks off in Frankfurt at 7.30pm.
