He has had surgery in the past to remove firstly a lump from his neck and then his entire lymph gland. He now has 6 monthly checks.
'I'm safe for the next six months, and I can relax for now. The first scan is a big one, to see if there's anything there, and it was concerning that I had to have mine early," Legg told the Echo.
'There were days when I didn't think about it, but it plays on your mind.
'Maybe the doctor was being cautious, but thank God it's come back normal. It's a massive relief and I'm just glad it's all over.'
