An embarrassment at Ninian Park

Quite simply put today's game was a shocker.

Darren Purse scored an own goal to gift Leciester a victory they deserved, but would never have got under their own steam. It was a game City should have walked but for whatever reason they totally flunked it.

No fluidity, hardly two passes strung together and despite the stats saying we had a number of efforts on goal we could count on one hand I hardly recall an effort I could count on one finger.

Maybe the team were concerned about next weeks FA Cup 1/4 final.

I now believe this season is a washout. With no financial support to strengthen we are not going to compete at the top end of the table. Let's enjoy the Cup next week and take what comes in the league.

I have no answer to the question of our future. Where we are going? I have no idea. The new stadium is rising from the ground. I guess that will make some people a few bob.

On the pitch we seem to be in limbo. As a Club just what ambitions do we have?
