An improved performance but still a defeat

I didn't go to the game at Leicester. But once I heard on the radio we'd gone a goal down I knew that it was curtains.
We just don't do comebacks. I'm not sure of the exact stat but in over over 100 games under Dave Jones where we've gone a goal down we've only come back to win just five times.

The reports are we were better than we were against Ipswich. Unfortunately a better performance but still losing produces the same outcome. Zero points.

That's 5 away defeats of the bounce, four in the League, our comfort zone in the play offs has been eroded and not we face a battle with around 6 or 7 other teams for 6th place.

The "dream" is still there. We are still the team holding 6th place and we have a game in hand but we have to start putting a run together and getting something away from home. We really need at least a point at Coventry. They are one of the teams right behind us and will overtake us on Tuesday if they win.

If there is some comfort it's that after Tuesday four of the next five games are at home.
