An Andy Legg Legends XI will play a Cynon Valley Select XI at the Ynys in Aberdare, ko 7:15pm.

The event will raise money for LATCH (Llandough Aims to Treat Children with Cancer and Leukaemia with Hope).

Former City players Jeff Eckhardt, Jason Bowen, Mark Walton, Roger Gibbins, Lee Phillips and Gareth Abraham have agreed to play along with City coach Paul Wilkinson and rugby old boys Neil Jenkins, Arwell Thomas, Garin Jenkins and Paul Moriarty. Former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable is also lined up to play. There will also be a cameo appearance from myself.

It's just £2 for adults and £1 for kids.

If for no other reason other than to take the mickey of of me warming up, then come along and help support the charity.

'Initially, the organisers said they would donate a hefty sum to cancer research if I got a team together,' says Legg.

'I thought maybe £500 or so, but now the amount is rising fast, well into the thousands.'
