Tony Vidmar's Australia were beaten by a single goal in Melbourne. Australia lost both games either side of the weekend against Turkey but todays game was an improvement.

“Friday night was the first time the back four had played together. I think we played it much sharper to the guys in the midfield and up front.” Vidmar said after the game.
