Ayr Utd 1 - 3 Cardiff City

Graham Kavanagh scored twice tonight as City enjoyed a 3 - 1 win over Ayr at Somerset Park. Kav was on the score sheet early on and City kept the lead until half time. Ayr pulled one back with a headed goal from a corner but Peter Thorne put City back in front. As the game was coming to a close Kav blasted in from 10 yards to make the victory secure.

An estimated crowd of 900 - 1000 was boosted by 100 or City fans.
