Ben Turner and Kenwynne Jones exit Cardiff City

C:WindowsTempphp92D.tmpWembley goalscorer Ben Turner (pictured withy Filip Kiss) is leaving Cardiff City. The big defender has struggled with injury in recent years and will not be getting a new contract at CCS.

Turner is is joined on the way out by Kenwyne Jones, Joe Lewis, Etien Velikonja and Filip Kiss. All four have been away on loan from Cardiff and finally they can be removed from the wage bill.

In the U21's / Development squad four players have been released. hey are Jazzi Barnum-Bobb, Abdi Noor, Tyler Roche and Curtis Watkins.

City have also announced that contract extensions have been offered to U21/DVP squad members. Luke O'Reilly, Elijah Phipps, Jamie Veale, Macauley Southam, David Tutonda, Ashley Baker, Dylan Rees, Tom James, Robbie Patten, Tommy O'Sullivan and Theo Wharton. 

Meanwhile, professional deals have been offered to members of this season’s U18 squad to step up into U21/DVP football. We’d like to congratulate Jamie Bird, Rhys Abbruzzese, Lloyd Humphries and Rollin Menayese and look forward to monitoring their progress.
