Birmingham improved offer 'take it or leave it'

The latest newspaper reports on Roger Johnson claims that Birmingham City have submitted an improved offer.
Said to be worth possibly £4m increasing to £5m with conditions depending on future results / performances etc.

Peter Ridsdale is believed to have confirmed that Birmingham have been in touch but no more than that.

The £5m headlines that this news is attracting will be misleading as payments could take years to be received if ever depending on how the Blues fare in the Premier League.

There seems little doubt that there is interest from Birmingham, exact facts are hard to come by though.
