Blackpool fans for a day. Weekend Division 2 preview.

Cardiff and Crewe are level on games played. Crewe have a one point advantage as we hit the final 6 games of the season. Three of the remaining games we play at the same time (the last one being a head to head at Gresty Rd on May 3rd),but the other three Crewe play 24 hours ahead of City.

This weekend Crewe are at Blackpool on Saturday, we are at Chesterfield on Sunday. Anything other than a win for Crewe will give us the oportunity to go second on Sunday afternoon. Please Blackpool, get a result against the Railwaymen.

Both Crewe and City are in midweek action next week, Crewe play Bristol City on Tuesday (draw would be perfect) while Cardiff go to Peterborough on Wednesday. The other staggered match day is Easter Monday. Crewe are away at Barnsley on Easter Monday, City go to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City on the Tuesday night.

Back to this weekend. Obviously the better Blackpool do against Crewe the better for us. But what about the others.

Leaders Wigan entertain Brentford, the Latics need two wins from 5 games to guarantee promotion they should pick up the first of those on Saturday.

Oldham, 2 points behind City having played a game more are away at Cheltenham. Again anything less than an Oldham win is a bonus.

Bristol City in 5th look to have a home banker against Mansfield. Lets hope they suffer an LDV hangover.

QPR, last weeks winners at Ninian Park entertain Luton. Rangers are in good form and should be good enough to beat the Hatters. City have a 6 point lead over Rangers and have a game in hand so they should be far enough behind. A draw would be nice.
