Blades sharpen their bid for Cameron

SHEFFIELD United are waiting for a definitive answer from Cardiff City after offering a £2m deal for Cameron Jerome.
The Blades initially offered £1.2m which was turned down turned down flat and they returned with an offer of £1.5m up front, with an extra £500,000 if they secure promotion to the Premier League.
But the Echo understands the Yorkshire club’s second bid has not been officially refused by Cardiff, with the Bluebirds playing a delaying game instead.
