Blake returns from Plymouth loan

The young full back has been on loan at Plymouth but a transfer embargo on the Devon club means they can't resign him as they would like.

Blake would like to stay and told the Plymouth Herald, "Hopefully, it will be sorted out before long so I can get back.

"I spoke to Paul Mariner yesterday, and on New Year's Eve, and he told me he wanted to keep me but something had happened and he couldn't sign me.
"He said as soon it was sorted out he would phone me straight away. That's all I know."

He went on to say, "Hopefully, Cardiff won't send me out on loan to another club and things with Plymouth are sorted quickly.

"I definitely want to come back because I have really enjoyed myself here. Its fingers crossed now."

Cardiff could also see Tony Capaldi back from Leeds Utd. His loan spell now ends and there's no news yet as to whether he will make a permanent move to Yorkshire.
