Cardiff City's classy new blue Adidas home shirt went on sale on Friday morning with sales at the club shop breaking all records.

After two lean years of unpopular red merchandise the return of City's rightful colour has seen unprecedented demand and record sales. It was expected that over £100,000 would be taken on Friday alone and on visiting the shop on Saturday I can say that the newly refurbished shop at Cardiff City Stadfium was continuing to do a brisk trade.
