This is the first ever gathering of Bluebirds DownUnder in Melbourne and THE Melbourne lads are planning a great night. The full play-off final will be shown on a big screen together with some of the Cardiff v Bristol 2nd leg match.
If you are a Bluebird living in Victoria come along for a great South Wales evening. If you are living anywhere else in the world and you know of Cardiff City supporters living in Victoria please get in touch with them and let them know about the function. The landlord is offering a special deal to Bluebirds DownUnder, a schooner and a meal for $5. Our Club Captain Richard will be travelling down from Sydney especially for the evening and we are hoping a few others from north of the border will make the trip. If this is a successful event we will be setting up a BDU group in Victoria, so, LETS MAKE IT A GREAT NIGHT.

This is our chance in Sydney to celebrate Bluebird success so let’s make the most of it. We’ll have the flags and the bunting from Ninian Park and The Millenium Stadium, together with our three heros, Steve, Martyn and Kev who have all returned from the big game with stories to tell and souvenirs to display of their fantastic experience. To cap it off, we will be proud to welcome City legend Adrian Alston who will be our guest for the evening. So, wear your colours, bring your flags and lets make the Bayview rock as we celebrate South Wales style.
A small number of ladies including wives of members have asked if they can come along. OF COURSE THEY CAN. WIVES, GIRLFRIENDS, MISTRESSES OR BLUEBIRD LADIES OF INDEPENDENT MEANS WHO ARE IN AUSTRALIA AND WHO SUPPORT THE CITY WILL BE VERY, VERY WELCOME.
A small number of QPR fans have asked if they can attend and they have been told that we will make them very welcome with typical South Wales hospitality.

On top of these two great nights, we are also planning a Bluebirds DownUnder gathering to precede the Wales v Oz rugby on 14 June, that’s if the Welsh team gets here of course. It will be in a pub around the Central Railway Station commencing about 4pm. More information on the venue to follow.
