Neil Warnock's summer transfer dealings burst into life today with three new players announced.

All three have been speculated on in recent weeks and have been welcomed to the club.

Wales international Will Vaulks has joined from Rotherham, Curtis Nelson signs from Oxford Utd and Joe Day has made the short trip from Newport to the Capital.

All three are very good players who will add quality to our already strong looking Championship squad.

"It's great to be playing for the biggest club in Wales just six months after my first international call up." said Vaulks.

“I’ve had a good five seasons at Newport County. It’s been great and now I feel like I need to make the step up," said Joe Day

“The Championship is a big step up from League Two, but it’s something that I feel I’m ready for and I’m very much looking forward to.”

Meanwhile Curtis Nelson is looking forward to fighting for a place in the City defence:

“I’m absolutely delighted to be here, he said. "I’ve been waiting to get to move to the Championship and now I can’t wait to get started.

“It’s a massive club that came down from the Premier League last year, but I can see us challenging to go straight back up again because of the manager at the heart of the club, and the players that we’ve got.

“I’d like to bring competition to the squad. You’ve got the boys (Sean Morrison, Bruno Ecuele Manga & Sol Bamba) who played there last year, so I’d like to be competition and try to work my way into the team."
