Bolands back. Leicester match preview

Both Lennie Lawrence and Craig Levein will make chancges to thier sides for tonights match at the Walkers Stadium.

Lennie will start with Willie Boland in central midfield to hopefully beef up the central positions that were overrun at Preston. Neal Ardley is fit so it could be Richard Langley who makes way for Boland.

Paul Parry will be amongst the subs.

Up front the strikers are expected to keep thier places but I wonder if Darren Williams will be brought in to steady the back.

Leicester welcome back Stephen Hghes from suspention, he will go straight into the team. Levein has vowed to make changes after Leicester lost their 7th home game of the season last Saturday to Wigan, a match that saw Kav named man of the match.

"They are a decent side, big and physical with Dion Dublin and Nikos Dabizas at the back, but they don't have a lot of pace between them," Kav told the Echo.

"They attack everything that is in front of them or in the air, but when the ball was put over the top or in behind them they were vulnerable. Peter Thorne is clever enough to put those balls through and Cameron Jerome is quick enough to give them the edge, without a doubt.

"We won the game with two set pieces but we created a lot of chances in open play, so as Leicester play in a similar vein then Cardiff will be in the game."

Leicester started their game against Wigan with the following line up

Walker, McCarthy, Dabizas, Dublin, Maybury, Gillespie, Williams, Gudjonsson, Tiatto, de Vries, Connolly.

Some big names in there, Ian Walker, Dion Dublin, Danny Tiatto, Nikos Dabizas and Keith Gillespie - all with plenty of Premiership experience.

A win for Leicester will ensure their safety, they would move to 52 points and certain Championship football next season. For Cardiff a win would see a 4 place move up the table to go level with Leicester, Cardiff would then be one win or even only a draw from safety.

There is commentary of the match vis the Cardiff City World website and for those living in Wales the game is on Radio Wales FM.

Kick off is at 7:45pm.

The other fixtures in the Championship tonight are
