Boost for Wales as Yugoslavia are held by Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan came from 2 goals down to shock the newly named Serbia and Montenegro (Yugoslavia) in this afternoons group 9 qualifier.

It's a massive result as far as Wales are concerned with a healthy four point gap over Serbia and five points over Italy. All three teams have played 3 games.

Wales have a 100% record and their next match is at home to Azerbaijan on March 29th in front of a 72,000 sell out.

Rhys Weston is being suggested in most newspapers today as being in the starting line up for Wales v Bosnia tonight. If Wales avoid defeat they will set a new record of 9 games unbeaten. The current squad are currently on 8 games which matches a record set by the 1957/58 team and the 1981 team.

Robert Earnhsaw will start on the bench as Wales look to strat the game with Craig Bellamy and Simon Davies on the flanks with John Hartson in the middle.
