Bradford hanging on. Div 1 round up

Last updated : 09 March 2004 By Michael Morris
West Ham United made ammends after their 0 - 0 home draw with Walsall last weekend. Condemned Wimbledon were put to the sword at Upton Park with Matthew Etherington getting a hat trick in a 5 - 0 win. Don's old boy Reo-Coker also scored as did Zamora.

2nd from bottom Bradford won 2 - 0 over Watford in front of over 17,000 fans at Valley Parade. The crowd was 7,000 up on their average so far this season. Maybe the fact that Bradford allowed everyone in for free tonight had something to do with it

Watford's defeat is good news for Cardiff. It means they are far more likely to finish below us this season and therefore it's another step on our way to 1st Division survival. (Don't get me wrong, I'm still hoping for the play offs but it will feel beter when the trap door has closed. Just in case).

Table.
