Bristol City match preview

QPR striker Agyemang has joined City on loan until the end of the season, while winger Campbell-Ryce has signed on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Championship rivals Barnsley and both should go straight into Gary Johnson's squad.

However, defender Christian Ribeiro has joined League One side Colchester on a month's loan so is unavailable and striker Danny Haynes remains a doubt with a niggling hamstring injury.

Goalkeeper Steve Collis has penned a contract with City until the end of the season but is expected to start his tenure on the bench.

It is the fourth time the two sides have gone head-to-head this season, with the Bluebirds running out 1-0 winners the last time they met just one week ago in the FA Cup third round.

Darcy Blake may continue in the Cardiff midfield for the clash.

The 21-year-old made his first start of the season in Saturday's FA Cup win over Leicester and will be hoping to retain his place in the starting XI.

Winger Chris Burke will be seeking a starting berth after coming off the bench to score at the weekend.

But it remains to be seen whether Gavin Rae, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury, will be fit enough to play.

Joe Ledley is nearing a break for his double hip operation and Solomon Taiwo (illness) could miss out again.

Stephen McPhail has been back in training for over three weeks after recovering from stage one malt lymphoma and a thigh injury, although no date has been set for his return, while Josh Magennis (broken fibula) remains out.
