Bristol fail to win again. Division 2 review.

Last updated : 11 February 2003 By Michael Morris
A goalless draw at home to Brentford means that Bristol City are 5 points behind Cardiff having played a game more. Bristol are in shocking form no wins from 7 games in 2003, Crewe lead the way in the form table, the two draws suffered lately have hardly dented their superb run of form.

Since Jan 1

Wigan have taken 14 points from a possible 21
Crewe have taken 17 points from a possible 21
Cardiff have taken 9 points from a possible 18
Oldham have taken 9 points from a possible 21
Bristol City have taken 4 points from a possible 21
QPR have taken 16 points from a possible 21

Blackpool in 7th place are looking dangerous, they swapped places with Luton tonight when the Tangerines won 3 - 1 at Kenilworth Rd. They have taken 13 points from 21.

Cardiff's game in hand on all of the top teams is at Port Vale on Feb 25th. Vale stormed into a 4 goal lead at Vale Park tonight before finally beating Chesterfield 5 - 2.

Despite apparant hic-cups Wigan and Crewe are still the teams to beat. They meet at Gresty Rd this Saturday. Cardiff have to win at Peterborough to guarantee gaining some ground on the top two.
