Jason Brown has completed his move to the CCS on a months loan. He immediately becomes available for Saturday's home game with Ipswich.
But this afternoon a reliable source has told Cardiff City Mad that Stephen Bywater is also joining the club.
Both of City's main keepers Tom Heaton and David Marshall are carrying injuries with Marshall's elbow problem going to keep him out for the rest of the season. Heaton has a groin problem so it's possible Dave Jones is having to replace both of them in the short term.
Bywater had a loan spell at Cardiff back in 2002 but never played a senior game.
